Hashtag Utd youth

About The Club

n 1992, Forest Glade Football Club was founded by Derrick Pearson, who is now co-Chairman of Hashtag United. In 2020, Forest Glade Football Club were part of a three-way merger with Hashtag United and AFC Basildon Ladies.

This resulted in approximately 45 teams coming under the name of Hashtag United Football Club and creating a senior club. We now have pathways for all of our boys and girls from the ages of 3.5 (our Little Tags Section) through to our senior teams, who are represented in Tier 3 of the men’s and women’s football pyramid.

Our aim is to understand the needs of our local community and support them where we can. We have introduced walking football for people with early-onset dementia, as well as our inclusive section, which offers pan-disability football for children and adults.

This season, our youth section will consist of over 40 teams that will be competing in the Brentwood Community Football Alliance League, South East Essex Primary League, Essex County Girls League, Junior Premier League, Echo Junior League, and Eastern Junior Alliance League.

Our senior men’s teams will be competing in the Isthmian North, Essex Senior, and Olympian Leagues.

Our senior women’s will be competing in the FA National League. (Please see our senior website for more information on both our senior sections.)

As a club, we will continue to offer football for all and will look at all abilities and try to stream them to ensure they are playing at the correct level to match their abilities.

Our youth section trains and plays games at our 35-acre Barleylands site in Billericay.
